The 24-Day Challenge!

If you have been following along on my progress with C210k, you will now that I have sustained a permanent injury, and can no longer run.  As crushing as this news has been to me, I am trying to embrace my new future, and am kick-starting the journey with the 24-Day Challenge!

06.27.12: Ordered my AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge Kit. So excited to get started!  Off to the gym to rehab my knee post-surgery, and try to increase my time on the exercise bike.

06.29.12: Spoke with my AdvoCare sponsor, Linde, today. It was AWESOME! In fact, I am so excited, I am pushing back my start date to include more of you during the challenge! My new start date is July 9th, so you have plenty of time to call me and get your own 24-Day Challenge kit!  Let's do this TOGETHER!

My food choices have been great today, and I did a full 60 minutes on the bike. Yay mobility!  I am thinking of adding a personal trainer once or twice a month to help keep me focused and to push my goals further.

07.02.12: Received my 24-Day Challenge kit and recipes from Linde.  Wow, there is so much good stuff, I am actually looking forward to all the yummy new recipes we get to try! I was worried that I would have to radically change the way I eat during the cleansing phase, but, with a few minor tweaks here and there, we will be able to accomplish our goals.




07.09.12: Day 1!  Here we gooooooooooooooo! Followed my first day morning instructions and I feel SO FULL! I am coming off of a summer cold (yech!) and started my you-know-what today (great timing, Mother Nature), so I am trying to stay positive, and hoping that I will have some extra energy to get me through the next few days because, honestly, I woke up feeling like crap.


I also weighed myself today, took all my measurements, and snapped the dreaded "BEFORE" picture.  YIKES!!!! What an eye-opener!  I totally need this, inside and out!
